PHOTOCHROMIC TREATMENT TEST – ZONE 1:
- Photochromic lenses reach a maximum degree of absorption in approximately 15”, without damaging photochromatic component; it is also possible to check the absorption of photochromic lenses in organic material. The result will be compared with the reference scale, placing the lenses on the special circles on the top of the machine.

“UV” RAYS PROTECTION TREATMENT TEST (optional) – ZONE 2:
- On positioning the lens or the glasses between the ultra violet light and the “UV” radiated writing, the latter disappears if the lens is treated with UV protection; otherwise, if the UV rays pass through the lens, the writing becomes visible in the same measure as the quantity of passing rays.
